In modern mold manufacturing, due to the complex mold structure and high precision requirements, the surface characteristics and materials of different parts are greatly different, so the mold end mills used are also different.
The following is an introduction of special machining tools:
- Forming end mills: The flute profile is an end mill designed according to the workpiece profile. It can ensure the dimensional accuracy, shape consistency and high productivity of the workpiece being processed.
- Corner radius heavy duty end mills: It is suitable for cutting large or heavy parts, quickly removing material or retaining a small bottom radius on the workpiece.
- Tapers: It is used for milling smaller metal grooves and step surfaces.
